In the run of this course we will look at various best practice examples of successful presentations and their support through visuals. As well as investigating forms of successful teacher-learner interaction and a variety of teaching methods, we will put theory into practice by collaboratively developing effective presentations as well as planning and carrying out engaging “mini-workshops” on a variety of topics.
MEd students will be given plenty of advice on everyday classroom management as well as a deeper insight into effective participatory teaching methods.
Credits will be based on regular participation (both in class and online) and giving a presentation/moderating a mini-workshop (with accompanying reference material) as well as a written reflection.
