  • This course is designed to allow students to develop and deepen their knowledge of psycholinguistical issues and areas of research. During the course of the semester we shall be investigating a wide range of topics, including (amongst others):
    • language and linguistic knowledge
    • language and the brain
    • language and memory: language comprehension
    • the biological nature of language acquisition
    • processing models of language acquisition (e.g. connectionism, information processing)
    • second language acquisition
    • language disorders
    The course will be supported with the online learning platform ‘Moodle’. While Internet access at home is not obligatory, it is strongly recommended.

    The course will be held in English, and the requirements for a “Leistungsnachweis” or credit points will include a research paper, as well as an oral presentation.
